Gladheart Black Harris is a black Morgan sport stallion with the conformation, athleticism and beauty that attracts attention wherever he goes;  combined with the type and personality that identifies him as all-Morgan.  “Maus” has already been noted for his impressive athletic ability by some of the top dressage clinicians in the country, as well as chosen by Dressage Today for his type and beauty in their “Baroque” issue pictorial.  He has outstanding feet, correct legs, substantial hocks, a strong topline, short cannons and the overall conformation necessary for sport and soundness.  His expressive gaits show excellent reach and overstep at the walk, an open, uphill canter, and early talent for piaffe and passage.

This young stallion is bred to produce competitive Morgan sport horses.  His pedigree is rich in Brunk breeding with multiple lines to the "golden" Flyhawk x Sentola cross through Stetson, Warhawk, The Airacobra, and Top Flight.  Maus’ sire, DJJJ Ebony Gold, is one of the top Morgan sport stallions in the history of the breed, placing fourth in his 100-day North American stallion testing, as well as earning his AMHA Sport Horse Award and recently being inducted into the AMHA Show Horse Hall of Fame.  Maus’ maternal half-brother, Adequan®/USDF All-Breeds Champion Gladheart Linhawk, is one of the few Morgans successfully competing in open dressage at the FEI level.

Gladheart Black Harris has it all:  Conformation, athletic ability, charisma, beauty, Morgan type and the classic breeding.  And he is passing these traits to his babies!  Without exception and crossed on a variety of mares, Black Harris has produced individuals with excellent type and athletic ability with sweet, personable dispositions.  Morgans that love people, love to work and have the gaits and talent to excel in whatever the task they are given.  Please visit his webpage for additional pictures, videos of both Black Harris and his foals.
