Our story
The MHAO Stallion Service Auction originated in 2008 for the promotion of local stallions. In 2012 it was expanded to include stallions from across the Nation. We seek to include stallions from a variety of bloodlines and disciplines. It is our goal to increase excitement about the Morgan Horse, and to draw the Morgan Community together.
The MHAO Breeders’ Cup Futurity was established in 2010 to aid in the promotion of horses owned by MHAO members. Participants in the Futurity must be a member of MHAO. All are welcome to join our club wherever they are located. The Futurity is designed as a 5-year plan which follows a new born foal through its 4-year-old show season.

Both programs are sponsored by the Morgan Horse Association of Oregon. They are administered by the MHAO Stallion Service Auction Committee and the MHAO Breeders’ Cup Futurity Committee which consists of appointed MHAO members.
Futurity classes are offered at the Oregon Morgan Classic Horse Show which will take place in mid-June at the Oregon Horse Center in Eugene Oregon.
