Credit card numbers are required in order to bid. Winning bidders will be given the option of paying via credit card or by check. If a payment by check is not received by April 30th or before the mare is bred (whichever comes first), the credit card will be charged.
The starting bid on all stallions is $600 unless a higher or lower amount is requested by the stallion owner. The lowest allowed is $500. If the starting bid is other than $600 it will be shown on the stallion's page and be reflected on the bid site. Bids for stallions increase in at least $25 increments.
Proxy bids are accepted in this auction. A proxy bid allows you to bid the lowest amount needed to have the highest bid; but if another bid comes in your bid will raise by the interim amount automatically to get you back on top, up to the maximum amount you have set.
For "Other Items", the starting bid and bid increments are shown on the bid site & on the "Other Item" webpage.
