If you’re a fan of the iconic Morgans of the 70s and 80s, you’ll recognize Jack’s pedigree and the possibilities it provides to breeders in 2024 and beyond.
His sire, Trijas Mr Peppertime, was a son of Serenity March Time, by the Kohler fountainhead, VIGILMARCH, and out of the good Brunk mare, Triwana. His dam, Little Miss Pepper, was the genesis of the “Pepper Power” breeding program developed and promoted by the late Bob Brooks and his wife, Patti at their Storybrook Farm. Miss Pepper produced 17 foals and her influence is found in Waseeka Farm as the dam of Waseeka Peter Piper and Waseeka Pied Piper, at Pegasus Farm in Colorado through her daughter, Dainty Dot (dam of Pegasus Premier, Royal Pride and Persuader), and finally, through her wonderful daughter, Equinox Polly Pepper, the dam of several excellent daughters by the celebrated Tedwin Topic. She was also the dam of Trijas Mr Pepperlect (by Applevale Donalect), famous for his incredible “Pepper Power” trot and gameness that was passed down to foals like Syndicate Tiger Eye and Salem Dangerfield.
Pepperjack is out of LCS Inspirations, a direct daughter of one of the greatest broodmare sires of the last century, the beautiful stallion Tedwin Topic. His second dam, Dutchess Of Highland, combined Fleetwing, Vigilmarch, Government and Brunk for the solid bottom line that every good breeding stallion needs.
With a very late start to his breeding career, he is ready to stake his claim in Morgan history.
